FutuRUG Intake Solutions are designed to assist the SNF with their Medicare – A admissions. This program not only calculates an admission nursing RUG, but the Therapy/Nursing mix and RUG perseverance, based on admission information. Better than trying to calculate the ADL score by hand, guessing on nuring RUG, FutuRUG also creates reports for your interdisciplinary team. Nursing RUG perseverance is also calculated to let the team know if the intake RUG calculated at admission should persevere through the end of the 8th day. This is important when working with residents who may have a later start to skilled therapy or reduced skilled therapy while thier nursing needs are still high.
