Research Assistant (RA) is designed to make internet research and data collection easier and more effective.

ADVANCED SEARCH: Uses advanced meta-search engines and other specialized search services to find the information you need. For Web and Hidden Web searches results are categorized to help you locate the specific set of information you need.

NO MORE RE-KEYING: Specify detailed search terms and save them for re-use. Easily adjust your search and submit it again.

COPY-AS-YOU-GO: The ClipPad allows you to "copy-as-you-go" copying text, graphics and screens as you search. ClipPad runs in the background collecting everything that is put on the Windows clipboard. You can view this in the ClipPad window and you can add your own notes to it. When you are finished, the information can be saved to a rich text file (RTF) that can be opened in almost any word processing program.

ADD NOTES AND CREATE PROJECTS: Create Projects to consolidate your work for each topic. Add your own notes and create reports from a template for your project. Export the project to a zip file to take it with you or share it with others.

Also add Notes and record IDs and Passwords for web sites, files and for keywords you choose. This supports a multi-user PC by securelystoring this info with encryption under an ID and Password you choose. This information is displayed when the owner is signed in and the web site or file is accessed. A find function searches for keywords or strings within web site / file names.

COMPATABLE: RA runs on Windows 98 and any newer version including XP. It provides access to Windows Favorites and allows you to search and create new ones. You can do almost anything in the built-in browser but it also provides support for creating Favorites from Explorer or Netscape Windows. You can capture text and graphics from any source (web or documents).
